We had over 300 volunteers for last year's DRC Half Marathon & 5K! The race wouldn't be possible without the help of our dedicated volunteers! Many positions available even if you are racing! HOW TO VOLUNTEER?

All volunteers will receive:
- Refreshment race day morning
- Volunteer shirt
- Invitation to the Annual Volunteer Appreciation party
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES & DESCRIPTION
Aid Stations (RACE DAY) – Setup aid stations with water and sport drinks, cheer runners as they pass, distribute water and sport drinks, maintain drinks throughout, clean up and tear down stations after last walker/runner. Volunteer can not run the race.
Bag Check (RACE DAY)– Assist runner with tagging and storing bag. First shift available for volunteer who are running the race.
Coning (RACE DAY) - Assist in loading and unloading cones; coning the course and at race site.
Course Monitors (RACE DAY) – Volunteer will be assigned a designated area to monitor along the course; responsible for directing runners and walkers to stay on course and to cheer them on. Volunteer can not run the race.
Course Timers (RACE DAY) – Volunteer will be assigned a designated area to call out splits. Volunteer can not run the race.
Food Tent (RACE DAY) - Responsible for setting up, distributing, maintaining food and drink, and clean up. Various shifts available.
Finish Line (RACE DAY) - Responsible for setting up area, handing out medals and water to runners, directing runners out of the chute to food tent, and clean up. Various shifts available. Early and late shifts available to volunteers who are running the race.
Packet Pick-up and Registration (NOV 2- NOV 6) – Assist with registering runners and handing out bibs, goody bags and shirts to those who have pre-registered. Available from November 2 thru November 5, various shifts between 9-7pm at Run On! Dallas (Mockingbird/75) and on race day morning, November 6, 6-8am at Norbuck Park.
Pick-up Supplies Transport (NOV 5)– Assist with transporting packet supplies from Run On! Dallas to Norbuck Park. Available November 5, 5:30-7:30pm, SUVs or Trucks preferred. Must be able to lift and move boxes.
Parking/Shuttle (RACE DAY) - Guide runners and volunteers at various parking locations.
Race Site General (RACE DAY) - Volunteer will be assigned to help with various activities including awards, finish line, food tent, administrative, loading/unloading supplies, clean up of site, etc. Various shifts available
Race Site Setup (NOV 5) - Assist in setting up the race site on Saturday. Duties may include loading/unloading supplies from trucks, hauling tables and chairs, marking spaces for vendors, etc.
Signage (NOV 5 - NOV 6) - Assist Signage Team Leads with posting signs prior to race day and tear down of signs after race.
